Hagonoy Sports Int'l. Inc (HSII) is exclusive manufacturer of IMG Outdoors, LLC's partners and friends in Hermosa Beach, CA, U.S.A. It is currently being managed by David L. Alfonso, Managing Partner of IMG Outdoors, LLC and President/CEO of HSII. Mr. Alfonso is the majority owner of the company and the partnership. He spent part of his childhood in Hagonoy before immigrating to the U.S.A. in 1972. He has extensive background in international manufacturing, shipping, logistics, trading and consulting.
MANAGEMENT: The production management of HSII consists of 2 industrial engineers with bags and garment industry experience. A seasoned CFO/CPA heads the Administration/Personnel/Accounting Departments. The management team has a combined experience of over 10 years in the bag/garment manufacturing leading a work force of over 200 personnel.
CAPACITY: Presently, the factory is capable of producing over 30,000 good quality sports bag, wallets and accessories per month. Product groups include backpacks and equipment bag for extreme sports, like in-line skate, surfing, motorcross, snowboarding, BMX, Bicycling, climbing, hiking, volleyball, basketball, tennis, badminton, etc., school bags, roller luggage, duffels, computer bags, wallets and pad folio, shoulder bags, hydration packs, bicycle and motorcycle covers etc. HSII has 118 pieces of high speed, heavy duty and specialized sewing machines including computerized and multi-function type.
The company is located in the town of Hagonoy, in the province of Bulacan, in the Philippines. This town is appoximately 40 miles north of Manila.
The Municipality of Hagonoy is inhabited by local labor force involved in fishing, farming and garment manufacturing industries with a population of over 150,000 people. Being away from the metropolitan areas of Manila, this town is not influenced by any organized labor and minimum wage is lower than in the cities.
